In terms of symbols, all high paying symbols fall into a collection of Characters. The character with the red background has the highest salary value, followed by the characters with the yellow, blue, green and purple background. The low-cost symbols are the standard Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten. There is also a Wild symbol which substitutes for all symbols except Scatters.
The Champions of Mithrune base game has an exciting Champions feature that randomly activates 1 of the character’s 5 powers. In addition to this, there is also a Free Spins bonus to be expected with an equally impressive Minigame.
During any random spin of the base game, one of the following Champion modifiers can be assigned.
Anastina the Sorcerer – Adds a Cluster of matching symbols to the reel set, starting from 2 × 2 up to 5 × 5.
Olc the Goblin – Turn reels 2, 3 or 4 into Wild reels, up to a maximum of 3.
Silvana the Ranger – Adds between 4 and 7 Wild symbols to the reel set.
Gorm the Barbarian – Upgrades all instances of royal symbols in Wild, up to a maximum of 5.
Syn the Shapeshifter – Turn all Champion symbols on the reels into the same highest paying symbol.
Obtaining 3 Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 activates the round free spins. Before the Free Spins can begin, you will first encounter the Power Up Minigame which has 3 Lives.
During the Power Up feature, collecting 3 sample tokens of the same type will unlock that particular sample feature for each free spin. During this function it is possible to unlock more sample functions.
If all Champion features are awarded, those features will apply to each free spin. Champion Tokens collected in excess will automatically be added to the multiplier magazine. Once this fills up, all remaining potions and tokens are added to the free spins magazine.
The total number of free spins awarded will depend on the number of Scatter symbols you get during the Power Up feature. Each time 3 Scatters are collected, the total number of free spins increases, up to a maximum of 10.
Another symbol to keep an eye on during the Power Up function is Potions. Each time 3 Potion symbols are collected, the Multiplier will increase by +1 to a maximum of x10.
If none of the special symbols stop during the Power Up feature, a life is lost. Lives will replenish each time a special symbol lands. The Power Up feature will end when all lives are lost, which will then begin the free spins round.
Once setup is complete, all rewarded Champion features will be applied to the Free Spins round. All multiplier values awarded during the Power Up feature will automatically be applied to all winning combinations in the Free Spins round. The Free Spins round cannot be reactivated.
